Prairie View Community Church is affiliated with the Great Commission Association of Churches (GCAC) and has been meeting in Parker, Colorado area since April 1999.

Prairie View began as a 'church plant' from Prairie Ridge Christian Church, located in Aurora, Colorado.  It was the fulfillment of a long dream and vision of 2 families who were then attending Prairie Ridge in Aurora and living in Parker.  After several years of discussions and prayer with Rick Whitney, a regional pastor with GCAC, Rick agreed to help these 2 families "test the water" in the south Parker area. Flyers were passed out, highlighting a series of seminars on Marriage, Family & Parenting.  The first seminar was held on April 11, 1999 in the Pinery Fire Station.

We quickly outgrew the Pinery Fire Station and moved to the Northeast Elementary School gymnasium.  We have now grown more and have moved to Legacy Point Elementary School. God has blessed and we've come a long way.

In our Sunday morning services at Prairie View we connect the timeless truths of Christianity to your interests and concerns and present them in fresh and practical ways. It is our major teaching and worship time for the church. Our goal on Sunday is to communicate the love and power of God through our contemporary music, our message, and our fellowship. We want to motivate people in their personal lives, encourage them in the next step for their relationship with God, and empower them for ministry and outreach.

In our messages we teach important portions of the Bible, the foundational truths for Christian living, and needed messages on a variety of topics. The teaching will offer hope and encouragement as well as good instruction in a style full of practical application.

On Sunday morning you’ll find a warm accepting atmosphere, great hospitality, and upbeat music, all in a relaxed environment. Children’s classes and childcare meet during the same hour as the adult service.
