Prayer Requests

"Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit."      James 5:17-18

Monthly Prairie View meets together to pray. This serves as a regular reminder that we need God's help. Ps 127 says "Unless the Lord builds the house, the work of the builders is useless. Unless the Lord protects the city, guarding it with sentries will do no good."  We can have all the best tools, the best strategy, the gifted servants, but God says all our work is useless if our trust is in anything but Him.

Prayer is also an active part of our Life Group and Teen meetings.
