philosophy of ministry

Our Goals

To raise our own children in the fear and instruction of the Lord. And to assist one another as parents in this noble work. The Prairie View children's ministry is dedicated to helping our children learn about Jesus Christ, know Him personally, grow in His likeness, and live for Him. We pursue this vision in partnership with each of our families.

Our Methods

We will meet on Sunday mornings in various classes, divided according to ages. We meet during the sermon portion of our Sunday service, right after we finish singing together as a church.

Our Curricula

We desire to select Christian materials and Bible study lessons that are centered on the basics of our Christian faith. And that are easily passed on to every new, parent teacher.

Our Teachers

We have a very enthusiastic set of volunteers who have a heart to teach our youth. They meet together periodically for training, encouragement and support.

Our Students

Our desire is that all of our children would respectfully follow the leadership and instruction of their volunteer teachers. We believe in our kids and know that we are raising "Champions for Christ!"

Our Prayer

"That we would continue to be a growing church, seeking to share God's love with new families in our Parker community. With this in mind, we will always build our Sunday school with the thought of serving the newest, youngest, visiting family."
